The down FCI goods train had left from Muzaffarpur for Katihar carrying FCI grain in 58 bogies. Railway sources said that this train reached Bhagwanpur Desua station at 5.40 am. It was supposed to go ahead, but due to the crossing, this train was being put on the side line. Due to the light installed in the kiosk adjacent to the station, he saw a yellow signal, due to which the train was moved forward. The result was that the train broke the dead stop on the side line and went out. It is just a coincidence that the access road was made due to the railway tower ahead. Due to which the engine got stuck on the soil from the front.
accident relief team arrived
Railway officials said that it may take at least 5 to 6 hours to bring the train back on the railway track. More than 100 members of Railway’s accident relief team are engaged in this work. The bogie attached to the first engine has been cut and moved back. After which the team has started to bring the engine back on track.
Railway Gumti also got damaged
Due to this accident, the boom of the railway kiosk has also been damaged. Due to which trains are being passed by closing and opening the gate manually. RPF has been deployed at the spot for security reasons. RPF Inspector VP Verma was engaged in this work along with his team.

Meanwhile, DRM Vinay Srivastava said that rail service has not been affected due to this accident. Railway personnel are engaged in rescue and relief work. An investigation has been ordered into the entire matter. After investigation, action will be taken against other guilty officers and personnel.
